Z University.Org Helps Employers Create Practical Learning Opportunities With Free Internship Program Education Series
Newtown, PA – Z University.org (ZU), an innovative workforce readiness company, announces the release of a free education series to help businesses to plan and manage internship programs. According to the Z University.org, the series, available on www.ZUniversity.org, features several resources from ZU's Intern Toolkit, a complete step-by-step system to manage programs most easily and effectively.
The three-part internship education series includes the titles, "The Value of Having Interns," "Real Work Interns Can Do to Create Real Value," and the "Internship Program Planning Cycle." Each title includes tips, checklists and additional resources for employers seeking to develop their own program.
"Any business that hires college graduates or simply needs added resources stands to benefit from having college interns," explains Matthew Zinman, president of Z University.org. "We hope that by sharing this education series, we can remove some barriers to the world of opportunity that internships create. The majority of employers simply either overlook the value that students can bring to an organization, or fall short in structuring a program to utilize interns most productively and yield significant returns for their bottom line."
Z University.org has already removed a major barrier with its innovation of Intern Toolkit - resource to help employers manage internship programs. It features nearly 60 components within seven modules: Program Planning; Recruitment; Screening and Hiring; Orientation; Work Management; Performance Measurement; and, Skills Development.
Zinman adds, "College students are highly capable, highly motivated and, if well-managed, highly valuable. Examples range from supporting marketing efforts and operational needs to gathering business intelligence and augmenting work for clients and partners. Students also possess knowledge and skills that employees may not, such as with computer programs, the latest academic methodologies, and research capabilities."
