WorkWise Software Inc., a specialist in productivity tools to improve business communications and processes has entered into a partnership with Ascentis Software, a provider of employee benefit and human resources information management solutions.

Under the agreement, Ascentis Software will distribute a private label version of the WorkWise Business Alerts solution to customers as a new product offering, entitled HROffice Alerts.

Seattle-based WorkWise's Business Alerts solution automates and synchronizes notification messages pertaining to specific events and business processes. HROffice Alerts will notify concerned parties of time or date sensitive events and all actions required.

"The addition of HROffice Alerts will allow our customers to free their HR staff from many of their administrative burdens, enabling them to focus on more strategic issues," said Chuck D'Ambrosia, CEO of Bellevue, WA-based Ascentis Software. "We plan to release HROffice Alerts in the next few weeks with a library of 20 automated processes as a feature of HROffice Alerts. The library of processes will proactively notify the right persons at the right time about expiring certifications, employee reviews, program enrollment opportunities and many other events."

"The partnership with Ascentis Software strengthens our position as the leading provider of event-based notifications, application integration and process automation systems to the mid-market," said Mike Arthur, director of sales and marketing for WorkWise Software. "It also provides further validation for the need of event-based notification solutions in the HR arena.

The original equipment manufacturer partnership with Ascentis Software is the second such relationship that WorkWise has developed with a provider of HRIS solutions."
