The Human Capital Institute and Velocity Resource Group Offer Strategic Recruitment Leadership Roundtable
Washington, DC - The Human Capital Institute (HCI), a professional association and educator in talent management strategies, and Velocity Resource Group, a candidate sourcing firm, today announced the return of one of HCI's most popular executive workshops, the Strategic Recruitment Leadership Roundtable, a session for internal staffing professionals--those who lead corporate, not-for-profit, and government recruiting departments.
The one-day workshop, which now includes two new modules and other enhanced content, will be offered in several key U.S. cities, beginning with the first session in Atlanta on April 18.
Expertly designed to unlock the potential of recruiting and leadership abilities, the Strategic Recruitment Leadership Roundtable is facilitated by Jeremy Eskenazi, one of the country's leading talent management gurus and former head of staffing for Amazon.com and Universal Studios.
The session isn't about how to recruit; it's a small, interactive roundtable that discusses how to best manage and lead a corporate recruiting function. Led by Eskenazi, participants will interact with one another to learn how to implement workforce planning in their own organizations; leverage confrontation into consultation; determine what measures and metrics to utilize for their organizations; attract, find, and keep great recruitment professionals; leverage outsourcing and vendor management to maximize success; and more.
"The Strategic Recruitment Leadership Roundtable is an excellent opportunity for recruiting professionals to learn from one another," said Allan Schweyer, HCI's Executive Director. "The workshop's format combined with the expertise Jeremy Eskenazi brings to the table is the reason this is one of HCI's most popular workshops. We appreciate Velocity Resource Group's assistance as we bring this workshop to various locations throughout the United States."
"Recruitment professionals often do more than attract and hire candidates. Many recruitment professionals are also staffing leaders with a wide range of responsibilities. We're pleased to support the Human Capital Institute's efforts to address the leadership components of recruiting by offering this workshop," said Rob Haidler, Velocity Resource Group's Managing Partner.
In addition to Atlanta, the Strategic Recruitment Leadership Roundtable is currently slated for a number of other cities, including Dallas, New York, Boston, Los Angeles, and San Francisco.
