Software for Test Administration and Assessment

Fain & Companytor Windows-based software is designed to enable educators, trainers, and managers to construct tests. The software simplifies the testing process by developing questions, designating answers, administering tests, and compiling grades, providing classroom instructors and the corporate trainers with timesaving assessment tool. In addition, it features an intuitive Tree Directory Structure, Toolbars, and a Test Wizard. Scores can be viewed, tests can be shared between classes, reports can be generated, and questions can be stored in the Question Bank.

The software is designed for three user types: students, who have access only to the Tester module; instructors, who can create tests, but have limited permissions as assigned by administrators; and administrators, who have full privileges in the software.

The software features eight question types and offers a variety of reporting options including class, test, and student reports, as well as question and subject analysis reports.

The software can also be used to create surveys. A modified version of the test editing summary screen allows for survey creation and editing, and the survey report provides a way to check the compiled results. In addition, the software offers security options including password, randomization, time limits, and disclaimers.

The company also offers the Stand-alone Tester (ST), a test distribution tool designed for teachers, test publishers, or organizations that want to create tests and publish/distribute tests to "off-site" clients, students, staff or members.
