Resume Robot
When a user enters a search term, an immediate search of the database is performed and results are displayed to the user. Simultaneously, a robot queries many search engines (server-to-server) and gets a list of search results which match the criteria. The spider then visits all these sites and indexes the new listings to the database, then an email message is sent to the user with a link to the search results.
The process may take 30-60 minutes, depending on how many new resumes are spidered. A directory of previous searches is maintained for the user to review -- a private database of search results. Both the general database and the user's private database grow with each use.
