Primacy Relocation Launches Global Assignment Management Operation In France
Paris - Primacy Relocation, a provider of full-service employee mobility and global assignment management services, announced the launch of Primacy France through a partnership with HR Valley, a human resource services firm based in Paris. HR Valley's International Mobility division now operates its expatriate consulting and outsourcing services under the Primacy banner, joining the company's other operations throughout Europe, North America and China.
"Primacy France will provide our European and North American clients and their expatriate employees with enhanced 'on-the-ground,' localised service throughout France," said Steve Marshall, President of Primacy's EMEA business unit.
The Primacy France team currently serves 37 corporate clients and manages 250 expatriate assignment files each year. Services include international mobility policy consulting and implementation; training and recruitment of clients' mobility managers; and overall administration of international mobility programs, which includes supplier management, relocation destination services, expense account management and service hotlines for expatriates. The offices are located at 70, boulevard de Courcelles [Paris-17e].
"In forging this partnership, we are combining Primacy's global reach with HR Valley's expertise in managing expatriate mobility within France," David Payet Pigeon, the Managing Director of Primacy France. Before joining HR Valley in 2003, David was an international mobility manager with Montréal-based Bombardier, Inc. (best known for its Learjet line) for four years. He was responsible for the definition and implementation of this 75,000-employee manufacturer's international mobility policy. He also provided training and support services to the network of 40 HR managers responsible for expatriate affairs in 24 countries. David holds a maîtrise in labor law from the Sorbonne – Paris IV and an M.Sc. in international human resources management from the prestigious business school, HEC Montréal.
The launch of Primacy France is being celebrated tonight with a conference and dinner at the Hotel Crillon. Dr. Jacques Attali, a leading commentator on social and economic affairs and former adviser to François Mitterrand, will deliver a keynote address on the globalisation of talent in international organizations.
