Peopleclick completes acquisition of Criterion
Criterion provides Web-based HR software for workforce planning/management. This includes succession planning, career management, performance management, training administration, competency management and diversity management.
According to Peopleclick, the company intends to expand its offerings to include the full HR product spectrum and Criterion brings several key benefits, including hundreds of additional customers and extensive workforce planning/management domain expertise to that effort.
"Peopleclick has recognized the need for a full-service Web-based software product that manages the HR processes end-to-end, with one common database of information," said Curt Witte, president and CEO of Peopleclick, based in Research Triangle, NC. "Businesses are managing scattered HR data from various outsourced software vendors and not measuring the effectiveness of their HR process. They are now recognizing the necessity of having centralized data.
"Peopleclick's union with Criterion is about our customers being able to change the rules of the game and use the Web to gain control over their HR processes, Witte added. "Companies with the best HR processes in term revenue generation, cycle time, and costs will surpass their competition by leveraging talent to increase shareholder value."
"Criterion has a long, rich history of delivering tools that help organizations enhance the effectiveness of their workforce, said Ross Taylor, president and CEO of Criterion, based in Irving, TX. "We believe that Peopleclick has the advanced analytical capabilities in the recruiting process that will be of great value to our clients."
