Personnel Management
The Personnel Management module takes employee information out of the filing cabinets and puts it at your fingertips. Now you can respond immediately to management, employee and government requests making you a real information provider. In addition to extensive demographic, EEO and status information, the Personnel Management modules provide the following:
- Job and Salary History - Tracks dates, rates, locations, divisions, departments and salary grades. Computes and stores compa-ratios, percent-of-range, change amounts and change percents.
- Benefits Tracking - Computes full cost for employee, employer and dependents. Reconciles carrier statements and provides accurate benefits reports.
- Time and Attendance - Up to 12 user-defined accounts with multiple accrual levels provide maximum flexibility. Accrual system allows you to compute and post total time earned (and used) by employee.
- Performance Reviews - Automatically schedules future reviews. Multiple "next reviews" are allowed for disciplinary and/or regular reviews. Batch processing simplifies and speeds data entry.
- Training History - Tracks courses taken, CEU's, hours, costs and certification earned. Training course table plus batch processing simplifies and speeds data entry.
- COBRA Administration – Tracks contact information, dates, reasons and payment history for all COBRA electees including dependents. Produces payment coupons and payment history reports.
- OSHA Management – Provides for detailed accident/incident reporting. Produces the OSHA 200 Log and OSHA 101 documents. Tracks workman's compensation details including cost for rehab, liability, medical and more. Plus an array of included reports helps you pinpoint problem areas, schedule training and control costs.
- There's More - Emergency contacts, dependents, skills, educational history and company property, to name a few.
Applicant Management
Applicant Management combines three separate elements that provide an in-depth, professional solution for recruiting and hiring. Key features are:
- Integrated Job Descriptions, Requisitions and Applicants - Combines a complete job description module and a job requisitions module with a powerful applicant tracking module. The result is an integrated solution that simplifies recruiting and placement of qualified candidates. Job descriptions and requisition tracking ensure that the open position and its requirements are defined and applicant tracking ensures that the candidate meets the requirements.
- Job Profiles – Enables you to create ADA compliant job descriptions for each position. For recruiting purposes, you can use these descriptions to instantly create job requisitions.
- Requisition Detail – Defines the objectives and requirements for the open position. The job screen tracks the job title, EEO category, location, department, salary grade, and more. The requirements screen tracks education and other requirements. The skills screen tracks the skills required for the job. Finally, a general screen tracks details about the requisition itself including open and close dates, hiring manager, and the name of the candidate hired.
- Applicant Demographics and EEO – Each applicant record provides complete demographic and EEO information. This information allows you to complete all types of correspondence and EEO reports.
And since Applicant Management is fully integrated with Personnel Management, candidates can be moved from applicant files to personnel files with just a few keystrokes or visa versa. True integration!
The Underlying Engine
Each People-Trak module is based on the same powerful engine that provides a wealth of standard features including:
- Report Writer – an ad-hoc report writer with which you can produce an unlimited number of custom reports.
- Forms - create documents for forms and/or labels of any size. Merge the contents of any field.
- Letters – generate letters to any employee/applicant without losing the personal touch. Merges any field in the database with the text of your letter.
- Import/Export – exchange information with other Widows-based applications, such as Excel and Word.
- Extract/Merge – define as many different databases as your company needs, then consolidate data from multiple databases to provide true enterprise-wide reporting.
- Customization – modify field names, report headings, and help lines so that the product meets your specific needs.
- Security – define and protect databases, menu options, screens, individual fields, and individual records.
Our Specifications
Here are answers to some of the most common technical issues.
- Database Structure - People-Trak v.4.0 uses a dbase database that was written in Visual Basic. People-Trak has its own Report Writer that ships with the software at no additional cost.
- Requirements - People-Trak's minimum technical requirements are a Pentium 133 with 16 MB of RAM and 20 MB of hard disk space. People-Trak also requires Windows 95/98 or NT as an operating system.
- LAN Issues - People-Trak is networkable via Windows NT, and/or Novell Netware. We do not charge on a per-user basis. If you purchase a multi-user version, it is for unlimited number of users.
Our Services
Technical Difference offers a variety of specialized services for its customers including contracted technical support, custom programming and database conversions. As with our products, these custom services are frequently priced much less than our competition. In the event there is a service we don't provide, we will try our best to locate and recommend a source for you.
