Paychex, BeneTrac Announce Enhanced Integration Bween Payroll And Benefits Management Systems

Rochester, NY - Paychex, Inc., a leading provider of payroll and human resource services, and BeneTrac, a Paychex company, recently announced enhanced integration between Paychex Preview payroll software and BeneTrac's Web-based benefits enrollment and administration technology. The integration means that payroll data and other employee information entered into either the Paychex or BeneTrac system will be transferred to the other seamlessly. Updates to employee information in Paychex Preview, Paychex HR Online (the Paychex Web-based human resource management system), or BeneTrac are automatically updated in the other systems, saving businesses time and money and increasing accuracy.

"At Paychex and BeneTrac, we help businesses manage employee information more effectively and accurately. Creation of this two-way information exchange provides mid-market employers an excellent solution to do just that," said Brad Flipse, vice president of sales for Paychex Major Market Services and president of BeneTrac.

"This tighter integration means data doesn't need to be entered into multiple systems, and it provides customers with even greater access to important information, increased employee and management satisfaction and more accurate reporting, planning and projections," Flipse added. "It is another example of the services we offer to meet our clients' administrative HR and payroll needs, in every step of the employee life cycle."

Users of Paychex Preview Payroll and BeneTrac can now automatically update employee demographic and benefits information—including address, department classification, elections, changes in number of dependants, etc.—across these systems, increasing the accuracy and timeliness of data exchange. The Paychex Preview service automatically calculates changes in payroll deductions resulting from the updates and alerts administrators to the changes.

The increased integration comes three months after Paychex's acquisition of BeneTrac and its powerful online employee benefits management system.

"Listening to our customers' needs and working to try to exceed them is a standard that BeneTrac and Paychex share," agreed Art Brooks, vice president of sales for BeneTrac. "These efficiencies demonstrate our constant vigilance to streamline our technology and ensure our users get the best service possible."
