Option Care Signs Contract with Employers Health Insurance Co.

Option Care, Inc., a leading national provider of ancillary infusion therapy and high-tech pharmacy services, recently signed a Home Infusion Therapy Provider Agreement with Humana's Employers Health Insurance Co.

Under terms of the agreement, Option Care will provide discounted home IV therapy services to more than 1.4 million members of Employers Health, a wholly owned subsidiary of Humana Inc., throughout the United States.

Further details regarding the agreement were not released.

Option Care is a provider of specialty pharmaceutical products and services for intravenous delivery. The company contracts with managed care organizations and other third party payers to provide through a national network of more than 140 locations. Humana is one of the nation's largest publicly traded managed health care companies with approximately 6 million medical members located primarily in 15 states and Puerto Rico.
