OnlineBenefits Eases Open Enrollment Period with Online Option
Alan Cohen, President of Online Benefits Inc., announced the addition of an open enrollment feature to it's interactive employee benefit service. The program is designed as an add-on to the already-installed Online Benefits Office, a website that facilitates benefit communication.
The open enrollment service allows employees to log onto their company's benefit websites and change their healthcare plans during open enrollment. By simply clicking on an icon employees gain access to their current plans and can change their selection for the upcoming year online. Online Benefits is responsible for collecting all the information and sending the data to the employer in an organized and timely fashion. By enabling employees with an easier and user-friendlier option during open enrollment period, employers save time, money and frustration during this pressure-packed time period.
"Once again, Online Benefits has developed a practical technological solution to help eliminate the burden of paperwork-related tasks for the Human Resource Department," said Cohen. "The new open enrollment service eases the benefits administrative process, serving as yet another option in employee benefit communication. Employees can make their own decisions, and HR folks can take more of the load off their backs."
