ijob is an online automated recruiting service designed for recruiters that allows candidates/employees to apply for positions via an employer's Website, telephone, or on-site kiosk. The service works with recruiters through the entire recruiting process and can handle job levels ranging from administrative to executive.

Using this service, recruiters can define detailed job specifications, while simultaneously publishing the same requisitions to hundreds of job posting sites and job boards. It takes care of automatic communications with candidates when they apply, notifies recruiters when candidates submit an application, and ranks and prioritizes them based on job criteria. When a recruiter creates a new requisition, or modifies an existing requisition, the service first searches the candidate database and automatically notifies Recruiters of candidates already on file who meet the criteria for the position. The service also provides recruiters with detailed information about the effectiveness of a company's recruiting campaign.

In addition, users are assigned Customer Account Managers to them during their implementation. Customers Service Representatives are available for candidates and employers both via the telephone and via live on-line support. According to the provider, the service can reduce the time to hire, cost to hire, paperwork overload, and turnover.
