National Healthcare Resources, Inc. (NHR) is a national provider of medical claims management services, offering medical cost-containment and care management solutions to payers of medical claims. The Company was founded in 1992 to provide cost containment services to the auto insurance industry. Following a strategic investment by Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe in July of 1995, NHR embarked on an acquisition strategy to consolidate what has been a highly fragmented segment dominated by many small local competitors.
