Mike Bell named president of CIGNA Group Insurance

CIGNA Corp. has appointed Mike. Bell as president of CIGNA Group Insurance. He replaces John K. Leonard who is retiring after 29 years with the company.

Bell has been Cigna's vice president of corporate accounting and planning since 1997. Since joining the company in 1984, he has served in a number of roles that include positions with CIGNA HealthCare and CIGNA Retirement & Investment Services.

David M. Cordon, who currently serves as CIGNA HealthCare's southeast geographic market leader, will replace Bell as vice president of corporate accounting and planning.
