Intracorp Launches Newly-Designed Web Site To Enhance Service Capabilities Of e-Business Strategy

Intracorp introduced its newly redesigned Web site (, providing a single portal for its portfolio of health care and disability management products, services, health information and Web-based business-to-business tools. The new site integrates electronic tools and services previously found on Intracorp Online.

"Our Web site is designed as a key component of our e-business strategy and is meant to be an essential destination for our customers," says Intracorp President Kirk E. Rothrock.

A primary feature of the new site is dedicated constituency areas by line of insurance. Payors, employers, network organizations and consultants/brokers can immediately access targeted information for short- and long-term disability, workers' compensation, auto managed care and group health via drop-down menus. The site also is organized by line of business: health care management, workers' comp and disability management and auto managed care.

The home page has the latest company news and access to two new monthly online newsletters for the health care and disability management markets. The newsletters, focused on industry trends and their implications for customers, are refreshed on a timely basis with late-breaking news briefs.

From the home page, customers also can engage Intracorp's business-to-business tools, which presently include the Claims Toolbox SM, the Case Manager Toolbox SM and the TPA Toolbox SM. The Claims Toolbox and the Case Manager Toolbox are designed for claims and clinical professionals in workers' compensation, auto and short- and long-term disability. The TPA Toolbox is designed for use by third party administrators in the health care industry.

In addition, Intracorp has extended its online health and wellness resource to its entire health care customer base. Formerly available only to Intracorp's demand and disease management customers, all health care customers will now be able to offer their members and plan participants access to the recently renamed and enhanced site,, available on May 1.

A stand-alone destination, is a password-protected portal where members can access a broad array of reliable information and interactive tools. Online health information augments Intracorp's telephonic services in demand and disease management, utilization management and case management.
