Interactive Learning System

Arel Spotlight enables online Interactive Distance Learning for participants at their desktops via the Internet or corporate Intranets. This system allows instructors to reach thousands of remote trainees over the Internet in an interactive way at home or in the office. It combines interactive TV, multimedia content, voice and data interaction and collaboration on a single Web-based platform, and provides a browser-based learning environment comprising if IP-multicast video, audio, and data. It offers collaborative learning, application sharing, voice conversations, real-time chat and messaging, in addition to all the interactive features previously available via interactive response units in ‘virtual classrooms'.

With this system, instructors can complement their content with presentation tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint, and enable participants to ask questions or send an anonymous ‘signal' asking for a repeat of the material. It also provides for discussions, multiple choice questions and tests with immediate performance evaluation, and presents a ‘lesson map' for navigation with links to Web pages, slides and other content.
