ICI Selects Kenexa To Power Unified Recruiting Programs

Company cites Kenexa's International Experience, Financial Stability and Strategic Vision as Key to Decision

Wayne, PA - Kenexa, a provider of talent acquisition and retention solutions, announced that ICI Group Services has selected Kenexa Recruiter as the backbone of its North American recruiting programs.

ICI Group Services supports the international businesses of the National Starch and Chemical Company, ICI Paints, Quest International and Uniqema. As one of the world's leaders in specialty chemicals and paints, ICI's products and ingredients include familiar brands such as Glidden and Dulux paints, as well as flavors, fragrances, thickeners and other ingredients in many popular foods, snacks, beverages, fine fragrances, personal care and home hygiene products. The company's diverse product lines also include adhesives, specialty starches, synthetic polymers and electronic and engineering materials marketed to sectors ranging from food, packaging, healthcare and publishing to construction and the computer and automobile industries.

"Our recruiting requirements are as varied as our product offerings," ICI Director of Staffing and Recruiting Douglas C. Eng commented from ICI's U.S. headquarters in Bridgewater, N.J. "At ICI, job openings can range from intellectual property attorneys and international tax specialists to fragrance scientists and paint store associates. As such, selecting the right recruiting vendor was an extensive and lengthy process. We chose Kenexa because of their current technology and their vision of globalizing their product. We're banking on it fitting our needs not only now, but in the future."

Kenexa Recruiter is a complete recruiting management system. When used as an applicant tracking system, it dramatically reduces overall hiring costs and streamlines complex workflows. The system also seamlessly integrates with Kenexa's other hiring solutions, such as testing and assessments, to further ensure the development of a strong talent pipeline.

"ICI's overall vision is to be the leader in formulation science," said Kenexa CEO Rudy Karsan. "We look forward to helping ICI establish a common platform for its recruiting programs, so the company can hire the talent necessary to sustain profitable growth and fulfill their vision."
