PeopleWise offers Civil Record Searches at the county and federal levels in every jurisdiction in the United States. Records are searched for civil filings at the upper court level in each of the counties requested by the client. Reports include all civil cases found for an applicant in the requested counties during the previous seven years.

Civil Records Searches are performed only to determine whether the applicant or employee has been a defendant in a prior employment-related lawsuit. Clients should utilize this search if the applicant or employee on whom they are requesting the report will be in a supervisory position over other employees.
