Great AAP Client Server Edition Software

GREAT AAP CSE brings the power of the Client/Server environment to Berkshire's GREAT AAP product line. Like GREAT AAP Master Edition, GREAT AAP CSE is a comprehensive, easy-to-use application that includes all aspects of affirmative action plan preparation in one integrated package. The software can prepare Availability and Utilization Analyses, calculate Impact Ratio Analyses to check for adverse impact in personnel actions, estimate internal availability and weights from personnel activity, prepare the Workforce Analysis, and generate complete Narratives.

GREAT AAP CSE allows large organizations to store their data on either a Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle database server, providing a more powerful and secure environment. CSE can be deployed over your wide area network (WAN) so your remote facilities can prepare their own plans without purchasing additional software.

Multi-Plan capability:
In addition to all the functionality included in GREAT AAP Master Edition, GREAT AAP CSE provides some tools for the larger organization. The most powerful of these is Multi-Plan, which allows the user to create a Master Plan which is used to capture and organize your data in one set of downloads from your corporate HRIS. Within the Master Plan, you can ensure that lookup tables are set up correctly and check your employee data for errors. Once all the data is in place, the Multi-Plan Wizard can parse the data out to individual plans defined by facility and location within the company. Any field from your HRIS can be mapped to the "plan code" in GREAT AAP CSE to indicate in which plan an employee should be included.

Corporate Initiatives - Multi-Plan greatly simpifies handling Corporate initiatives - those employees who work within one plan location but report to a different plan location. These employees are included in the Job Group Analysis, Availability and Utilization Analysis of the AAP where they report, and included in the Workforce Analysis of the AAP where they work. When parsing out plans, Multi-Plan will automatically report Corporate Initiatives correctly as long as the employee is flagged as a Corporate Initiative in the roster along with the plan to which they report.

Diversity Reporter:
Another new tool in GREAT AAP CSE is Diversity Reporter. This tool allows you to "slice and dice" your data in any way you want. Where the Sectors function in GREAT AAP Master Edition allowed you to look at any group of departments within a single plan, Diversity Reporter does the same for your entire organization - across plans within a multi-plan group. Say your sales organization has personnel in both your L.A. and New York offices. Each office has its own AAP. As long as they are related to one Master Plan, simply choose the sales departments from each plan to create a Roll-up called Sales, choose which statistics you want to include, and run a set of reports to view your entire sales organization! You can even save your Roll-up definitions for re-use.
