GenSource Corporation has introduced GenDIS, the industry's first non-occupational disability system that is fully integrated with other lines of coverage, such as workers' compensation, property and casualty and group medical.

When GenDIS is integrated with GenSource's other lines of coverage, the claims management process can be viewed through a single window. Key benefits includecomplete histories of claimants across the various lines of coverage; integrated reports that include summaries of total exposure across the integrated lines of coverage; and ad hoc reporting across various lines of coverage.

GenDIS runs on mainframes, minicomputers and microcomputer servers under the UNIX and Windows NT operating systems. Key features include eligibility verification, ability to manage treatment and back-to-work programs, local check issuance, automated tax withholding, complete policy-coverage verification, specific and aggregate reinsurance cessions/tracking, flexible benefit plan set-up, ad hoc management reporting, individual or "bulk" check issuance, inquiry-only capabilities by dial-in or by Webstract access via the Internet/Intranet, powerful notes features and optional payroll/HR, W-2 and actuarial system interfaces.
