Facilitating Dramatic Change - Workshop

"It's not about alcohol." The opening statement of this workshop will provoke a deeper examination of how people relate to employee alcohol and other drug abuse. The real underlying issue will reveal itself through an interactive use of The Drama Triangle, a powerful psychological model of interpersonal dynamics. Through active interplay, scripted role-playing and group discussion, the three main positions on the triangle are clearly seen: Victim, Persecutor and Rescuer. Participants get the opportunity to recognize what part they play and everyone learns how to utilize valuable tools for dissolving toxic dramas at work and in daily life. A tacit understanding of The Drama Triangle will prove invaluable when facilitating solutions for substance abuse issues at work. Management will learn how to make powerful boundaries and all involved will be empowered to take full responsibility for their own life.
