EPIX expanding employee management services with Ultimate Software's UltiPro PEO
Ultimate Software, a leading provider of Web-based payroll and employee management solutions, announced that EPIX, one of the nation's largest privately held professional employer organizations (PEOs), is harnessing the power of UltiPro PEO to enhance HR and payroll services to its more than 3,500 client companies, representing approximately 53,000 worksite employees, and to expand the market it services.
According to Steve Rosenthal, co-CEO of EPIX, the PEO industry has changed over the last several years. One of the ways EPIX helps its clients save money is through their recently introduced EPIXCENTER™, an interactive, Web-enabled service that provides clients with immediate access to its employee data 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Through EPIXCENTER, clients can perform pre-employment aptitude testing, conduct background checks, schedule drug testing, and perform compliance and skills training. They can also provide worksite employees with details on their paychecks, benefit plan coverages, Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) and compensation reviews.
