Employment Attorney Joins Employment Practices Solutions' Consulting Group Employment Practices Solutions ("EPS"), the premier provider of employment relations consulting, announced today the expansion of its operations in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area with the addition of Catherine R. Guttman-McCabe, Esq. as a consultant. Ms. Guttman-McCabe joins Erin Mulhollen, Esq. and Lily Garcia, Esq. of EPS' Washington, D.C. office. Leveraging her experience with educational institutions, Ms. Guttman-McCabe will offer employee relations consulting and training to the public sector's workforce as well. Ms. Guttman-McCabe has broad experience in the employment law field. Prior to joining EPS, Ms. Guttman-McCabe practiced employment law with Hogan & Hartson L.L.P. in Washington, D.C. for eight years. During that time, she advised employers on a broad range of employment matters, including personnel policies, employment discrimination, sexual harassment, termination of employment, employment agreements, wage and hour laws, collective bargaining, and ERISA. She conducted customized employment law training programs for managers, supervisors, and staff of client companies. She also represented clients in litigation before state and federal courts and agencies, and in dispute resolution matters. While at Hogan & Hartson L.L.P., Ms. Guttman-McCabe was also a member of the firm's education practice group and counseled numerous educational institutions regarding workplace matters. Ms. Guttman-McCabe has written about and made presentations on a wide-range of employment matters. Ms. Guttman-McCabe received her law degree, cum laude, from Harvard Law School and her B.A., Phi Beta Kappa, with distinction, from Swarthmore College.
