CMS Healthcare selects InfoMC as information systems vendor

<%=company1%>, a Plymouth Meeting-PA based provider of software to behavioral health, EAP and social service organizations, recently announced that CMS Healthcare, Inc. (CMS) selected InfoMC as its information systems vendor for care management technology and Internet-based provider transaction processing.

Tampa-FL based CMS purchased InfoMC's eCura Information System to manage their patient access, member service, case management, utilization review, network management, and claims processing and payment operations.

According to InfoMC, CMS will also be implementing InfoMC's eCura ProviderConnect, an Internet business-to-business application that allows providers to conduct secured transactions and exchange data with InfoMC customers through the Internet.

"CMS is confident that our partnership with InfoMC will allow us to apply our proven behavioral health expertise with state of the art information systems technology and Internet based communications. This system will assist CMS in delivering seamless service to our expanding client base," said Chris Grady, CMS' CIO.

According to InfoMC, by reintegrating specialty health care services and providing state-of-the-art management services, CMS offers providers and payors the ability to enhance patient access, member service, marketability and contracting, cost containment, quality of care and specialty care risk assumptions.

CMS offers managed care and provider services to HMOs, PPOs, ERISA employer groups, TPAs and to health care providers developing managed care products.
