CIBER Launches ERP Implementations With Three Large County Governments

Greenwood Village, CO /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ CIBER, Inc. (NYSE: CBR) today announced continued success in the local government ERP space with new contracts at three county governments, all of which are in the top 65 in the U.S. These significant wins for CIBER are for consulting services to implement the Oracle® E-Business Suite and PeopleSoft software suites county-wide. The contract values each exceed $13 million and together represent $56.5 million in revenue for CIBER.

The projects are full Enterprise Resource Planning implementations and include implementations of the following applications: Human Capital Management (HR, payroll, benefits administration, absence management and time and attendance), Financials Management (general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, contract management, grant management, projects, asset management, budgeting, purchasing/advanced procurement and inventory management). One project started in late 2008 and the other two commenced in 2009. CIBER is the prime contractor for each project, each of which includes change and program management, as well as functional and technical support.

At these county governments, the new Oracle ERP systems will enable transformation of business processes and will allow these counties to retire and decommission outdated legacy applications. They will also provide greater reporting functionality, budgeting capabilities, reduction of paperwork, and ease of integration to other applications.
