Careermetasearch.com Launches Rez-X Resume Exchange

Rez-X Integrates HireAbility's ALEX Automatic Resume Extraction

Lake Worth, FL - Careermetasearch.com, a subscription-based, enterprise-level job board that works closely with companies interested in increasing their recruitment results, announced its launch of the Rez-X resume exchange database. Rez-X is a community resume database that was developed to expand access for recruiters and HR professionals. It allows users to share resumes so that they can increase their pool of applicants quickly and easily. HireAbility's ALEX(sm) automatic resume extraction is an integral part of Rez-X, accurately and instantaneously rendering detailed, easily searchable profiles.

Rez-X's concept is a simple one. Recruiters create a new account on Careermetasearch.com and then search the resume database. When they want to view a resume in the database, they must first upload a resume to share. Other users can then view a profile or click on a link to view the resume in its original format.

"Our integration of Rez-X with ALEX, HireAbility's resume parsing tool, was a natural fit," remarked Jason Gorham, CEO of Careermetasearch.com. "The parsing tool allows Rez-X users to upload a resume from their hard drive or to upload numerous resumes in a zipped folder. It enhances the user experience and quickly delivers valuable data," says Gorham.

When hiring, a great deal of time and money goes into developing cost-effective ads that generate a myriad of applicants. However, after selecting a handful of candidates and successfully filling the position, the rest of the resumes generally sit in a pile and are not reviewed again by the hiring organization. Those resumes, however, are still of value to others and may contain the perfect match for their job openings. With Rez-X's technologically advanced, shared database of applicants, other recruiters can now access those valuable resumes immediately after they are uploaded.

"We continue to develop opportunities with innovative companies like Careermetasearch.com, and play a key role in helping them develop and deliver their solutions", said Ken Smith, Director of Business Development at HireAbility. "Recruiters will see the benefit of tools like Rez-X immediately."
