BeneTrac Announces Features To Help HR Professionals And Brokers Get The Most From Employee Benefits Plans

Custom reporting, employee communication and auditing tools offer new and robust features to simplify and enhance benefits management for BeneTrac HR Users and Brokers

San Diego, CA - BeneTrac, a provider of powerful, web-based electronic enrollment and employee benefits administration software, announced enhancements to its interactive benefits management software. BeneTrac gives HR managers and benefits administrators the ability to more effectively communicate policies and benefits updates to employees, ensure that changes are made with carriers and plan for benefit updates. Additionally, brokers can use the features to help HR gain greater insight into opportunities to improve benefit options and save time and money, providing even greater value.

"Our experience using BeneTrac software has been very positive. We love being paperless and the amazing reporting capabilities, including the interactive reports just added," said Valerie Clark executive vice president of Clark and Associates, an independent insurance agency specializing in employee benefits in Reno, NV. "The new features offer a host of advantages. Many systems offer a piece of what BeneTrac offers, but BeneTrac lets us give our clients a well-rounded and all-encompassing system."

BeneTrac's new Billing Audit Enhancements give HR the power to track employee benefit changes to ensure charges are correctly billed, facilitate carrier communication through auto-populated emails regarding outstanding issues and audit billing accuracy. HR, or brokers, can filter the employee population via classes such as department or location and can audit information with easy-to-read spreadsheets.

Communication with employees is further facilitated with administrators' ability to instantly switch to Employee Mode and see pages exactly as the employee does for easier assistance in walking through the system. Additional communications tools include:

  • You've Got News — Creates custom news messages for any segment of your employee population or for company-wide distribution.
  • Custom Group Agreements — Allows employers to obtain employee agreement to non-compete, privacy and/or other company specific policies.

New features for reporting and strategizing include:

  • Interactive Reporting — Provides the ability to create reports as robust Web pages, with the ability to drill down into specific categories and employee information. This allows administrators to make changes on the fly, further streamlining approval and reconciliation, providing more options for working with data.
  • Billing Matrix Report — Combines carrier billing details into one single matrix with the ability to sort and group information by employee, department, carrier, etc. The report allows administrators to easily evaluate total benefits costs and brokers to provide consolidated billing services to clients.
  • Custom Employee Fields — Gives HR more customizable fields to collect and report on a variety of information from employees such as vacation or emergency contact.

"At BeneTrac, we pride ourselves on truly listening to the needs of our customers through regular online surveys to users and in daily communication and are amazed at the level of response, positive feedback and caliber of suggestions we receive," said Brian Daley, vice president of technology for BeneTrac. "We take these comments seriously and consider ourselves an important part of helping HR and brokers simplify responsibilities and enhance their positions. These new features are a case-in-point of how BeneTrac is actively seeking out and addressing customer needs."
