Affirmative Action Plan Preparation
After you provide us with the required data files in an electronic data format, we perform extensive checks for data accuracy and integrity. Our goal is to provide you with an accurate, "audit-ready" plan. Your completed plan includes all of the following statistical analyses required by the OFCCP including:
- Work Force Analysis
- Job Group Analysis
- Eight-Factor Availability Computation
- Utilization Analysis (with statistical significance) Adverse Impact analyses are performed on:
- Hire and Terminations
- Promotions and Transfers
- And any special personnel actions specific to your organization (i.e., demotions)
We also provide several additional reports and checklists as supporting documentation for your plan. The final important component is the narrative. We provide you with comprehensive draft narratives on diskette (one for minorities and females and one for veterans and persons with disabilities), which already include the relevant plan statistics and company information. You can then easily customize the narratives in your own word processor to reflect your company's initiatives and policies.
After your plan is delivered, we'll follow up with you to review the plan and provide additional guidance as required or needed. When appropriate, we may recommend additional special analyses, discuss training options or suggest a "service to software" solution.
Audit or Expedited Plan Preparation - You can count on Berkshire to provide you with a detailed, accurate affirmative action plan even when you're under the pressure of an OFCCP Audit or Compliance Check. Audit plans are normally completed within two to three weeks. Plans needed for Compliance Checks are usually done in five days or fewer and will include as many of the statistical reports as possible. At your request, our qualified human resource consultants are also available to provide additional support, including on-site assistance, if needed before, during, or after the audit.
