First Web-Enabled Benefits and HR Administration Solution to Integrate Payroll Processing Function
Aetna U.S. Healthcare, the health benefits unit of Aetna (NYSE: AET), and Genesys Software Systems, Inc., today announced a strategic relationship to offer a fully integrated, Web-based benefits, HR and payroll administration system. Aetna U.S. Healthcare's EZLink, an online benefits and HR administration system, will now be expanded to include integrated payroll processing capabilities powered by Genesys Software Systems.
Aetna U.S. Healthcare's expanded offering, called EZLink Plus, will offer benefits, HR and payroll administration services integrated in one Web-based solution. Because benefits, HR and payroll administration functions are very much intertwined and share the same data, having one integrated system increases efficiency, eliminates duplication of effort and decreases errors.

EZLink is available with Aetna U.S. Healthcare HMO, preferred provider organization (PPO), and Quality Point-of-Service® health benefit plans; dental, pharmacy, vision, and disability coverage; and group term life insurance. EZLink is not limited to Aetna U.S. Healthcare products and can administer other carriers' plans, as well.
