ADP and Kronos sign three-year contract extension

Automatic Data Processing Inc., a provider of integrated payroll, human resources and benefits administration services, and Kronos Inc., a provider of frontline labor management systems, have signed a three-year contract extension.

The agreement enables ADP to continue to offer Kronos' Timekeeper Central software product and Kronos terminals, and to add Kronos' Workforce Central suite to ADP's existing time and labor management solutions.

Kronos, based in Chelmsford, Mass., offers a suite of applications for managing employee time and activity data, scheduling the workforce and providing frontline managers with tools to measure and improve labor productivity.

ADP, based in Roseland, N.J., offers Kronos' software products on a month-to-month subscription service model and under ADP's private label. These include Enterprise eTIME, a Web-based product providing frontline labor management technology targeted at larger organizations with multiple locations. ADP also will offer eTIME, which is targeted at small- to medium-size organizations and is a LAN-based time and labor management system for single location companies.
