Database Management System
CBC-CRG developed a proprietary client database management system which provides fast, accurate and efficient plan administration. This system enables CBC-CRG to provide confidential administration with minimal record-keeping maintenance required by our clients.
Our administrative system was designed by our employees specifically for our business. By utilizing client/server computing, our system takes advantage of the latest technology. The database runs on a UNIX-based operating system which provides the users with a multi-tasking environment.
Because each plan design is unique, our system has been built to be flexible and adaptive. The system is designed to meet specific plan design needs with great care given to data integrity and confidentiality.
Expertise
Legal and Financial technical expertise is necessary in today's changing legal and tax environment. As a resource to our administration department, CBC-CRG has on staff tax and ERISA attorneys, CPAs and others that are experts in the area of nonqualified benefits plans.
Effective communication is essential to reinforcing the value of the plan. Because CBC-CRG specializes in nonqualified benefit plans, we have developed enrollment communication materials which are highly effective in communicating the benefits of the plan. Our communication materials are designed uniquely for nonqualified benefit plans.
Administrative Services
Plan Enrollments - CBC-CRG prepares the enrollment communication materials for each plan participant at a scheduled time each year. At the conclusion of the enrollment period, CBC-CRG will then provide each client payroll department with the appropriate reports to process payroll deductions.
Benefit Values - Benefit statements showing current balances for active participants are provided at pre-determined times. Benefit values are calculated upon the occurrence of an unpredictable event, such as termination, retirement or death of a participant. CBC-CRG also provides, for internal audit purposes, the current and cumulative liability and interest accrual.
Social Security Sweep - Bi-annually CBC-CRG conducts a social security sweep to provide information on the status of terminated employees, so that any benefits due may be collected for the employer.
Insurance Values and Reports - CBC-CRG maintains all reports pertaining to the insurance policies owned by the corporation and provides periodic reports on cash values and death benefits.
