AchieveGlobal Announces Achieving Results Through Genuine Leadership™ Training System

TAMPA, Fla. – (July 22, 2003) – AchieveGlobal, international provider of training and consulting services, has introduced its Achieving Results Through Genuine Leadership training system.

Research-based content
AchieveGlobal conducted original, primary research to identify key business issues affecting top leaders, as well as their leadership training and development priorities. Research also discovered which specific skills sets were needed to overcome these issues and which of these competencies were directly related to productivity and retention in the workplace.

At the core of the system are the Basic Principles and Qualities of Genuine Leadership. Leaders who use the six principles are able to develop the key qualities of genuine leaders that include the ability to be collaborative, visionary, mindful, skilled and inventive. The six basic principles are:

2. Maintain the self-confidence and self-esteem of others.
3. Maintain constructive relationships.

Systemic approach and workshop design
Achieving Results Through Genuine Leadership is a comprehensive training system designed to provide a range of critical leadership skills vital to organizational success. AchieveGlobal has divided organizations into four management levels – executives, senior managers, frontline leaders and managers, and frontline leaders and individual contributors -- each requiring a different training application. Within each level, there are skill areas, each of which contains one or several training modules.

Four of these skill areas are being released as three new workshops and one foundational module, available in September 2003. These new offerings include:

  • The Principles and Qualities of Genuine Leadership: This four-hour module for frontline leaders and individual contributors teaches participants about critical leadership qualities that contribute to personal and organizational success.   • Managing the Performance of OthersTM: This two-day workshop for frontline leaders and managers focuses on the performance management aspects of a manager's role. Workshops teach skills necessary for planning for performance discussions, communicating performance expectations, conducting performance reviews and correcting performance.
  • Coaching Others for Top PerformanceT: This two-day workshop for frontline leaders and managers provides participants with skills that help build constructive relationships, gain stronger commitment to improving performance and achieve results that make a difference for the organization.
  • Bridging Strategy to Outcomes: This two-day workshop for senior managers helps them master and apply key interpersonal skills to build commitment and focus effort at every organizational level.
