Unisys Receives Recruiting & Staffing Best In Class Award
Blue Bell, PA - The International Quality and Productivity Center (IQPC) has named Brian Krueger of Unisys as Recruiting & Staffing Leader of the Year. Krueger is vice president of Global Recruiting at Unisys and was awarded this honor because of his success in meeting current recruiting challenges in innovative ways.according ot the company. The company further stated that, the IQPC announced the winners of the 2006 Recruiting and Staffing Best in Class Awards (RASBIC) at the Talent Acquisition & Staffing Summit conference held last month in Atlanta, Ga.
Krueger and Unisys earned the award because of a number of recruiting initiatives, including:
- surpassing industry benchmarks and promoting best-in-class recruiting by measuring business drivers against key metrics: quality, service, time, cost and quantity;
- deploying a major Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) project to better scale recruiting resources;
- launching an off-shore eSourcing team to support Unisys global business;
- working with the executive management team to align recruiting strategy with business transformation strategy;
- aligning the recruiting team with business units to implement a triad partnership between the three key groups: recruiting, hiring managers and HR business partners; and
- implementing a hiring quality initiative that includes behavioral interview training for the triad partnership.
"Recruiting talent isn't getting any easier," stated Michael Gallo, Group Director for the IQPC event. "Winners of this year's RASBIC awards are companies and service providers who are meeting challenges in new and thought-provoking ways."

IQPC's RASBIC Awards are held annually. The awards are judged by a volunteer panel of recruitment and human resources executives, according to the company.
