CPS HR Consulting is proud to announce it will be continuing its Talent Management Innovation Grant program for a third year. Designed to encourage innovative human resources (HR) practices in the public sector, this $20,000 grant promotes the discipline through support of personnel programs and initiatives.
“We are excited to be able to continue awarding this grant to deserving agencies,” said Jerry Greenwell, CEO, CPS HR Consulting. “The past two years of applicants have been outstanding, and we look forward to seeing what HR innovations this year’s applicants have in mind.”
The purpose of the grant program is to support excellence in HR through recognition of contributions to public service that foster quality, fairness, equity and solutions to organizational needs. The 2018 grant will be awarded to a government agency demonstrating the promotion of such objectives through the implementation and application of innovative HR programs.
The agency selected for the grant will be responsible for using the funds to establish a unique or innovative HR-related program within their agency and must meet the following requirements:
Additionally, the results of the program must be published with enough detail to allow other agencies to use the program as a model. The winning agency must also attend the Accelerate 2018 CPS HR Conference being held Feb. 7-9, 2018, in Napa Valley, California, where they will be awarded the grant.
Application proposals must be submitted by Nov. 27, 2017.
