Document Management Software System

The E-TECH electronic document and knowledge management software system allows individual law practices to integrate data and text, while using Oracle's full-text search engine, ConText. This system guides documents through the workflow process of data input/scanning, coding, OCR and cleanup, retrieval and output. It runs on Intel and RISC-based servers with PC clients and the LAN and WAN-based imaging networks provide image input and access to a large library.

The SQL database provides a secure data repository with client/server architecture and the application generator allows the user to define application requirements. Operating with other scanning systems, this management software has electronic file cabinets for the classification of documents and linguistic capabilities that automatically extract key themes from documents. Capable of integrating with Lotus Notes, this system includes image annotations, highlighting, searchable sticky notes and margin notes. Available with security, audit, and workflow features, this software supports multimedia data objects and has full-text searchable e-mail databases.
