Authoria Appoints New VP of Human Resources

Authoria, Inc., an employee benefit communications technology firm, recently appointed Victor Becker as vice president of human resources. Becker brings more than 25 years of experience in the HR field to this position.

Prior to joining Authoria, Becker was director of human resources for Inacom Corp., where he led a team of HR managers who provided generalist support for over 2,000 domestic sales employees. From 1989 to 1998, Becker served as director of field human resources and, later, as director of executive human resource development for Entex information services.

In his most recent position at Entex, he managed the design and administration of compensation programs for some 6,900 executive, corporate and field employees. Prior to that, Becker was finance and human resource manager for the Fortune 500 firm, Data General, and held the position of personnel manager for Stop & Shop Corp. He graduated cum laude from Providence College, with a B.S. in business administration, management.
