Visier Expands Operations With New Office San Jose

Analytics provider also triples the size of its Vancouver headquarters in response to business growth.

Vancouver, BC and San Jose, CA (PRWEB) - Visier, an innovation leader in workforce analytics and planning, announced today that it has opened a new office in San Jose, California, in response to the dramatic increase in demand for the company’s cloud solutions. The office will house Visier’s growing sales and marketing team. Visier has also relocated its Vancouver headquarters to a new facility, making space for the company’s rapidly growing product development and customer success workforce.

With the San Jose office, Visier will be geographically located near several important stakeholders, including a number of the company’s customers, such as Informatica, Concur, and Synopsys.

"It's great to have Visier open an office down the road from Concur. Like Visier, Concur is experiencing rapid growth. Visier lets us unify disparate sets of data from our multiple HR systems to get the insights we need to manage and optimize our growth. I haven’t seen any other tool that can do that in such an easy way,” says Charles Mah, VP, Global Talent Acquisition, Concur.

“I am excited by the opportunities we now have with Visier to deliver real-time drill-down analytics to help us drive timely decision making. Visier represents a leap forward from static reporting into dynamic analytics. We are partnering with this growing company and looking forward to even more functionality and user applications,” says Kevin Syvrud, VP, Global Operations, Human Resources, Synopsys.

The San Jose office opening is the latest development in the company’s growth. In October 2013, Visier moved its Vancouver office to a space in the Mount Pleasant technology hub in Vancouver. Over the next year, the company plans to add new employees in Vancouver and San Jose to strengthen resources across all functions, including sales, marketing, product development, and customer success.

A Big Data solution, Visier® Workforce Analytics enables organizations to discover critical workforce insights in areas such as employee turnover, performance, and retention, based on data from all available sources. With Visier® Workforce Planning, which will be generally available in February 2014, organizations can build optimal workforce plans based on historical trends combined with sophisticated scenario modeling.

“It is very rewarding to experience how our unique approach is helping our customers to gain confidence in their data and consequently make much better business decisions. By turning the traditional business intelligence approach upside down – starting with the real and practical business questions rather than with data sources and technical architectures – we are enabling our customers to get from data to insight an order of magnitude faster and cheaper,” says John Schwarz, Co-Founder and CEO of Visier.

Unlike traditional Business Intelligence projects, which take a year or more to implement, Visier unifies data from multiple, otherwise disparate sources, and translates that data into the most important workforce insights – in four to eight weeks. Instead of giving customers the tools to build applications, Visier delivers a complete cloud-based solution, enabling HR, Finance, and business leaders to make better informed, fact-based decisions.
