SITTINGSAFE Injury Prevention Program

SITTINGSAFE is a stae of the art injury prevention program that addresses problem areas in the modern office environment. It deals specifically with cumulative trauma injuries such as Carpal Tunnel and other upper extremity disorders. Our clients include United Airlines, Boeing, LA County Office of Education and many others both large and small.

We design customized workshops that are aimed at teaching each employee how to set up their workstation ergonomically correctly on the job or at home. The attendees also learn safe posture, "power positions", ways to work biomechanically / ergonomically correctly and a brief but effective stretching routine. Our program's compliance is extremely high because we get employees to "buy in" to the personal benefits of taking responsibility for their health.

The key to our program is our kinetic learning module (obstacle course.) We teach employees how to do their jobs, in their work environment, biomechanically and ergonomically correctly under the supervision of our highly trained network of biomechanical experts who coach them on how to do these tasks safely. The obstacle course is a practical learning module that ensures participation and their ability to apply the information at their workstations.

Each on site workshop takes approximately two hours for up to a maximum of twenty people at a time and a minimum of twelve employees.
