Human Resources Expert Launches New Consultancy

LAKEVILLE, Minn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sheri Stolp announced today the formal launch of The Stolp Group, Inc., a human resources consulting firm focused on providing services for small to medium-sized businesses. The mission of the new firm is to help companies build competitive advantage by providing strategies to better manage and maximize the potential within their employee base. Ms. Stolp has more than fifteen years of experience working in labor and employee relations, union negotiation, human resource strategy, and executive coaching for Fortune 500 organizations.

"I believe there's a need for small to mid-sized organizations to implement the processes and programs that can accelerate employee productivity and greatly improve worker morale," said Stolp. "Enabling a healthy, positive work environment within a company can lead to a much more efficient operation, not to mention sustainable long-term growth."

The Stolp Group provides a range of services for clients including human resources auditing, sensitivity training, leader coaching, workplace investigations and climate assessments. In addition, Ms. Stolp has created a unique service offering, HR On Demand. HR On Demand is an annual subscription service that provides an organization with immediate, on-call human resources support. The subscription fee allows clients access to The Stolp Group's extensive Forms Library, a monthly newsletter and other important resources. Organizations subscribing to HR On Demand receive on call support for a variety of services including performance management, crisis assistance, compensation and benefits consulting and compliance concerns.

One of The Stolp Group's recent offerings is the Issue-Free Workshop for Leaders. The pending approval of the Employee Free Choice Act (EFCA) may increase the possibility of unionization for some employers through simple employee-signed authorization cards. Some employers may choose to be more proactive in terms of union avoidance strategies. The Stolp Group offers key training for supervisors covering the EFCA, liability implications for employers and advice for sustaining union-free status.

"Helping growing businesses succeed is more important than ever in today's economy," said Ms. Stolp. "Through the services of The Stolp Group and HR On Demand, I can help support and encourage the most important asset of any company – its people." Ms. Stolp holds a Masters of Business Administration and has attained DDI and Lominger Certifications. She is an adjunct Professor at Cardinal Stritch University in Minneapolis and has spoken at several major human resources and business management events.
