The DiLeone Law Group, P.C. Hosts Human Resources Boot Camp

Raleigh, NC - Ralph J. DiLeone, managing partner at The DiLeone Law Group, P.C. (www.dileone.com), has announced that the firm will kickoff "HR Boot Camp," a seminar series on human resources management, on Wednesday, March 17 from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the Coastal Federal Credit Union building, located at 1000 St. Albans Drive. Speakers include DiLeone, Deb King of DJK Consulting and Dave Vogelpohl of Excellerate Solutions. The March 17 session will begin an ongoing HR series which will focus on the legal responsibilities that businesses face in regard to human resources. The seminar series is open to all business owners, practice or office managers, and human resources employees.

  • The focus of the March 17 seminar will be Hiring and New Employees. Topics covered include job descriptions, independent contractors, advertising, employment applications, interviewing, offer letters, employment contracts, introductory periods, and employee handbooks.
  • The second session is scheduled for Wednesday, March 31, and will cover The Employee Relationship. The third session, Employment Practices, is scheduled for Wednesday, April 14. The final session will be held on Wednesday, May 5, and will focus on the Employee Exit Process.
